Location and Access - How do I get the information?

How are you going to find your information?

Think about how you're going to get the information you need.
  • If it's a book, do you know how to find it in your library? And once you find it, does it have an table of contents or index so you can find what you need in the book?
  • If you'll be searching the Internet or in databases, what keywords will you search with?
  • If you'll be interviewing an expert, when will you be able to speak with him or her?
  • If you'll be using a newspaper or magazine, can you get a copy of the right issue?

Start with the sources that you think will be the most useful for your project.
Ask your librarian for suggestions on good resources to use.
