Information Seeking Strategies - Where should I look?

Think about what sources might have the answers to your questions.

Will an encyclopedia have the answers you need? Or maybe there's a book that would be a good resource. Would the databases be a good place to look? Can you find an expert to interview?
Think about all the resources that you can get to.

Select the best sources.

Think about the pros and cons to the different resources that you can use.

Examples:
There are some good books about space, but the NASA website would probably have the most current information.
The encyclopedia has an entry on bats, but the books in the library will provide more in-depth information.
